Lighting and electrics for period homes
Hampstead's Victorian and Edwardian houses and mansion flats deserve electrics that respect the building. Lighting is where that shows most: picture lights and lit alcove shelving, LED coffers and coves, chandeliers in stairwells and wall lights positioned to suit the room.
Behind the scenes, older properties often need a rewire or a new consumer unit before new lighting goes in. We plan both together, so the finished rooms look right and the installation underneath is safe and certified.
Working with designers and contractors
Many Hampstead projects involve an architect, interior designer or main contractor. We're used to working to their drawings, or helping plan the lighting and switching with them.

Questions from Hampstead customers
Do you cover Hampstead and NW3?
Yes. Hampstead is one of the areas we cover from our base in Wood Green, N22, along with the rest of North London and central London.
Can you design the lighting for a period room?
Yes. Lighting design is one of the things we're best known for. We'll plan where the lights, switches and dimmers go with you or your designer, then fit it.
Can you rewire a house without spoiling original features?
We plan cable routes with you before we start, to protect features you want to keep. Some making good and decorating is still usual after a rewire, so it's best done before you redecorate.
