EV Charger Installation: common questions
Can I get a charger without a driveway?
It depends on having off-street parking and a safe cable route. Trailing a cable across a public pavement generally isn't allowed, so it's worth talking to us and your local council about the options.
Will my fuse board need upgrading?
Sometimes. An older board without suitable protection or spare capacity may need changing. We check this before quoting, so you know the full cost up front.
Which charger should I choose?
Most good chargers do the job well. The main choices are tethered or untethered, the smart features and whether it works with solar panels. We'll talk through what suits your car and how you use it.
