Outdoor & Garden Lighting: common questions
Can outdoor lighting go in after the landscaping is finished?
Often, yes, but it's easier and neater to run the cables before new paving or decking goes down. If you're planning garden work, talk to us early.
Is outdoor lighting safe in the rain?
Yes, when it's done properly. We use fittings rated for outdoor use and protect outdoor circuits with an RCD.
Can I control the lights from a switch inside?
Yes. We can wire outdoor lights to switches inside the house, and add timers or sensors if you'd like.
