Socket Installation: common questions
Can you add sockets without making a mess?
We keep it as tidy as possible. Where we can, we run cables under floors or through voids to avoid chasing walls, and we explain the options before we start.
Do outdoor sockets need special protection?
Yes. Outdoor sockets need to be weatherproof and RCD protected, and the cable route and fixings need to suit outdoor conditions.
Can you fit USB sockets?
Yes. We fit double sockets with built-in USB-A and USB-C charging points, so you don't need plug-in chargers.
